I listened to the Cowboy Bebop CD Box not long after watching my Giant Robo DVDs for the first time, and one line from "Want It All Back" made me think of Murasame. (One guess as to which line.) I thought about Murasame's character, and I thought about how "Want It All Back" was used in Cowboy Bebop, and I decided I wanted to create something similar. This is not a lyric-driven piece. In fact, it often progresses despite the presence of lyrics. The design is intentional.
