Orientation Posters

Two proposed 28"x40" posters. The project was open-ended - the client asked me to "be creative" for one design, and "to use a 'gateway' theme" for the second design. The top poster, "Style," has a sort of corrupted retro feel. It was intended to print CMYK on a standard large-format printer, but designed to mimic the effect of having been run through a traditional 2-color offset press twice - once for blue and orange, and once for black and red - including a small, mock-inadvertent "skew" of the black-and-red "pass." The bottom boster, "Gateway," applies softened colors and actual canvas texture to mimic a "painting" in the background.
