Nature's Other Candy

Raisins, cranberries, and other sweet, natural snack foods have been called "Nature's Candy." So... something that everyone loves but is incredibly unhealthy is nature's other candy. The bacon graphic is, in fact, scanned bacon. I cooked strips of bacon into the shapes of the letters, then scanned each letter individually. Nature's Other Candy was "public artwork:" A banner outside a supermarket, hung in the dead of night; laminated advertisement cards taped up in grocery stores, near the bacon; stickers pasted in opportune locations, and in some random places around my college's campus. Later, I brought Nature's Other Candy stickers to JACON, a Florida Anime convention, since the name sounds similar to Bacon. The stickers were quite a hit, and ended up pasted all over. To the best of my knowledge, a couple of the stickers are still visible around the college campus, and one is on a Florida taco bar's wall of stickers.
