Chess

Poster for The RPI Players' Spring 2001 musical, "Chess." Permission to use "Chess" logo granted through performance rights agreement. The musical "Chess" isn't really about a game of chess at all; rather, it is a Cold War story. I used easily-recognizable American and Soviet flags butting at each other's top, both to signify the conflict and to create a single, eye-catching poster design. Much like during the cold war, neither represented nation is clearly superior, except when viewed from a certain angle.
